Symbol
Well-known symbol for the celebration of Hari Raya in Malaysia is ketupat. Sepang is a special food that is served today. Sepang is rice steamed in woven palm leaves or leaves PALAS and often served with rendang. Food, other food, including lemang, rice cake, dodol, and cake road.
However, other symbol that is based on Islam as word of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad, flowers, plants, geometric, and other illegal elements are not also recommended for use as a symbol of the festive Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Getting Started
In Malaysia, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is celebrated with a gala. Weeks before the festival appears, the preparation conditions have been felt by the Eid. Shopping malls will provide sales and decorated with ornaments on a large scale. Raya songs will be played on the radio and on television. The plans will show centers around Eid. Banks, schools and business premises will be closed for a few days to a week after Eid.
On the main road and highways throughout the country, congestion will occur as a result of influx of city residents who return to their hometown to celebrate Eid with relatives and family. This phenomenon is also known as Kampung Balik.
Clothing
Malay shirt is the Malay traditional costume worn by men in Pakistan on Eid. Worn with a skull cap and waist circumference in songket. Clothing fashionable women is the baju kurung and baju kebaya. Each year a variety of fashion design is introduced to diversify the traditional clothes of this. In 2005, wearing batik, songket, baju kebaya and wife increased promotion and commercialization of the late Datin Seri Endon Mahmood, wife of former Prime Minister of Malaysia ke-5, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Eid in the AD calendar
Date of Hari Raya Aidilfitri is always fixed and the Hijrah calendar. However, changing the date for the calendar Christian calendar is based on the circulation of AH calendar month while AD is in the circulation of the Earth around the Sun. Therefore, the date of Eid is different from year to year, with much less difference between ten to 15 days.
